Re: Thinking of buying an RX-8

The most rare colours - yellow (only available for the first year of production), phantom blue and stormy blue (one, maybe two, special editions), copper red (a couple of special editions), nordic green (replaced by strato blue I think (or was it yellow replaced by strato blue?) and quite early on)....

Re: Thinking of buying an RX-8

As you're in Scotland, get in touch with Ben (minisaki on here memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=22421 ). he is in Paisley and does compression tests etc, he also arranges the Scottish meets and club stands at events.

Won't be there (again, sorry) as my wife's father has been taken very ill. Hopefully next time.

Re: A RX8 from spain

When I had the Pettit catback put on I kept the OEM Cat for a while and it sounded very nice, but I wanted it to be even louder so I replaced it with the HKS High Flow Cat and it really came to life after that.

Re: A RX8 from spain

The Toyosport may not bee too good if you have small children, I understand they can drone. I love my Pettit catback, but it can be very loud (when you want it to be). The Racing Beat is quality and will be quieter but still sounds nice, so more suitable if you have kids in the car.

Hi and :welcome: shroom. :D Have a look in the events section of the forum to see what shows we're most likely to have a club stand at and the track days where there will be club members. As you're picking the car up at the weekend I'll do my usual and leave this here (I'll take any excuse ;) ). Hav...

Re: Clutch Pedal Sticking

I did have this happen a few years ago a couple of times - on both occasions it was particularly hot and I was in stop-go traffic for a very long time. Once I was able to stop and let everything cool down it was all fine again and, so far, hasn't happened again. I got the impression back then that i...

I had one put in when my sump was some time ago ... I'd guess it was worth it, no real idea what difference it has made but my thinking was it could only be an improvement.
