Denso makes spark plugs for the RX-8, both the standard and hotter types (for cold weather) and also the cold type for race use.

Still working pretty well even with mud, and this sticky fog we are having. Have some occasional problems with these Aerotwin style wipers now. Since they are now a few months old, they might have lost their elasticity a bit. Above 120mph (on private land) the driver's side tends to flap a bit when...

Those look slightly different than the ones me and maybe druck have.

mines don't have a front/back sort of spoiler, it is just a fin running down the middle along the length of the wiper. Mines also look less refined where the wiper arm is attached.

Well, had a go at it at my lunch brake, infact I didn't have any lunch and just had a go at it. Well, yes, fitting it first time is a bit of a bummer, especially taking the connector off. I suppose it is easier on LHD cars, on RHD models the accelerator pedal assembly is so near the side that it is ...

I think I have got it in today's post: a white envelope which unfortunately I had to put in the boot of the car as I was on a rush to work and on the phone at the same time.
Will check later and let you know.

I don't mind giving it a go instead, since all it does is making the throttle more responsive.
I'll read the previous posts to see what's involved in installing it.

Try getting in touch with some technical guy at AstraRacing in Italy. They have had several goes at changing the maps in the stock ECU and have been quite succesful apparently. Here is his contact rreginato at astraracing.com In the mean time, I think I understand where the "learning throttle c...

Re: Pulling to the left - advice please

So, took it to the dealer tuesday for tracking check. It's within tolerances with both fronts being 1/2 a degree (mechanic didnt say in or out) whereas from the factory it's 1 degree. Factory setting for toe-in (positive means toe-in, negative toe-out) is 2 (two) degrees for front axles, and 3 (thr...

There was a thread, long time ago, where I explained how important it is to get a computerised 4 wheel alignment in this case. The thread may have disappeared by now due to some unknown "feature" of this forum where threads disappear if not contributed to in recent times. Silly if you ask ...

I thought the insurance was interested in modifications in order to replace them in case of accident.
If someone comes into the back of your carand you had a borla, the insurance company may rightly say they will only replace it with the original mazda part.
Is that incorrect?

I just fitted the retro-fit wipers you guys have mentioned, and I found that I did not have to change the clip position; they just clicked correctly as they came from the factory.

Will post pictures soon.

Just how definite is this info? Not very definite at all. I posted to gather information from owners. But the fact that your '06 has regular seat backs makes me wonder if it was at the dealership for a while. Unfortunately I don't think you can ask for a replacement cover as it is a completely diff...

Was it just a prototype? It looked very much like the finished item. The stereo fascia was pretty much the one we have, and the rest too. Will probably review the clip frame by frame.
