I won't be able to make it either. Something has potentially come up and also cannot get someone to take my on-call shift during the weekend. :?

So my ticket is up as well. I can give it to DrEvil to take down with him if easier for people to pick up?

And again no, I am not getting one. I was just looking for "more bits" (as one does) and coming across that turbo for the rx8 made me wonder what it did and what it would do. And who'd be mad enough to slap it in there. I suppose if you're warranty was up maybe..

Thanks for the explanation druck!

Question about turbos

For the record, I am *not* a car guru -- i.e., I don't know my camshafts from my timing belts, my rods from my crankshafts, etc. As far as cars go, I just like how fast they go, how nice they look and how amazing they sound :D So I was looking around the net and came across "HKS turbo" components fo...

Yeh, the actual "fastening" of the grill is by the number plate itself -- when you take that off the mesh simply falls forward. Prodrive drilled 3 holes into the top of the lower bumper lip (if that makes sense...?) and the bottom of the front grill has 3 notches that fit into the 3 drilled holes. O...

they really look like they are supposed to be fitted as standard! That's exactly what I think - the plain top just looks like it was meant for the guages. Seeing as how I was a guage noobie the order didnt matter as I wasnt used to them being in any order. And it'll be a sane day in Bush's head bef...

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the dials cost all in (to buy and have installed)? oooh... that hurts. around the £1450 mark... i think.. I could have sourced them myself and given them to the dealer to fit, but if anything goes wrong with them, i can just go back there and they resolve i...

My PZ updated!

After much debate and thought, I decided to splash out some of the cash I earned, "down the docks" as it were, and get some tiny little bits to update my already fantastic PZ. Now, everyone has their own tastes and views, even if they are wrong. And while I fully respect other peoples' opinions to t...

Hmm.. I asked at a local dealer about getting that fitted to my car -- I was quoted around £1400 for the parts and labour! I have no idea what Mazda charges per hour for labour, but if I ordered the parts myself at approx £850, would Mazda charge £500 to fit it...? I really really want those...

Motorbikes don't have front number plates and they still get caught speeding etc by the rear number plate, why can't cars???? Cos in the olden days (ducks a swing from the old timers!) when bikes had the front plate that ran length-wise down the front mud guard, often an accident resulted in that f...

Hmm, so what would you guys do, DIY-style that is, if you wanted to drop the front plate from the standard position to the very bottom center -- much like ReformedBiker has done? He [reformedBiker] got a special bracket of CTD Germany but I emailed them and they no longer produce these brackets whic...

Yes, it's just a set of the stainless steel air strakes. If you can recommend someone then i'd prefer to use them to someone i dont know.

posting is fine. I'll just have a chat with them to see what they can do with these.

Anyone rec a powder coater in the Redhill/Reigate area?

Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend/suggest a place that can powder coat in the Redhill/Reigate area of Surrey?

Looking to get a few items powder coated to match some nice grey OZ rims.

Thanks
