Re: Nurburgring 2009

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the footage - Thanks for sharing :)

One of my biggest regrets following 2.5 years ownership was not taking the mine to the ring

I was reluctant to post here as very much aware of the hostility or apparent ignoring sometimes shown to exmembers, (however loyal to club or car in the past). - Sorry I missed this run, on hol's but now fully aware the RX-8 is well and truly gone despite nearly 3 years of happy ownership. Glad a go...

Only just got back from trip to Suffolk and back with family following 1 day off in 16 days so not fully charged. To get to RVP on time would mean 4.30 wake and 5am start as I live south of the final destination ! I doubt I will be able to make this at the off now , however, I may just be able to in...

I appreciate the desireability of special editions and also that handling ehancements are more important than power. Despite this the lack of a power increase is the major critcism from harder core journos re the pz ( which I seriously admire), which costs more than the std 230 to insure. I would wa...

Mazda used to do a "sports" exhaust for the RX-8. Made by a geman company possibly sebring can't remember. It is not notably nosier by any standards and no boasted hp increase so keeps the insurance company happy as it's not a performance accesory and is alos an officail option for the car...

Would have loved to have tagged along for this one which looks like being one of the best runs of the year in light of the route and what is planned at Goodwood. It would probably have been my last RX-8 meet if I hadn't sold the car by then but in any case I am working extra hours that day leaving f...

I have now added details of the PZ. In the abscence of further feedback can we agree to put a sticky on this one or otherwise store it for reference and prosperity for the benefit of new forum users.

This guide is my legacy to the club as my 2003 RX-8 230 now sold

RX8 head Thanks. It occured to me today that I had omitted the black tan - your wish is granted. Piege, Thanks but I did cover/mention the differences between 190/230 specs. I also gave a link to the mazda website :!: I have edited this section to make it clearer. I mentioned imports briefly but di...

You will all be pleased to know that the price of oil has plumetted over the last year or so. How do I know?
