Re: Xenon headlight white cap

If it looks like this then I would suspect a halogen conversation. This is all based on my sample size of 1. Unless both of mine are conversations.....

Easy way to tell would be to check the ballast on the bottom.

Bloody uploads keep failing.... It's a black dome thing.

Re: Xenon headlight white cap

Your spares are halogen. I base that on a sample size of 1. The spare I got for testing has black domes in place of the perhaps capped hole.

Xenon headlight white cap

Can anyone with a set of head lights out of the car (or in if you fancy taking them out) please check and let me know where the little white cap goes? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200602/be4ddf1e0675650482aa7f56fd895b48.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200602/2a03ba345d815f0053c24fc78394...

Maybe she wants you to teach her so she can have a go at cleaning the Vectra?

Not really. The Aircon got so cold it clicked off today. First time ever! Well since it's worked, smells less too.

Not dropping the rear subframe will make it easier and harder. The access is great but replacing it isn't.

Re: Paul's RX-5

support bar under/between the airbox and battery.

Engine to body near the driver shock

Then one down near the Aircon and bell housing if I remember correctly.

These are the ones I found taking the engine out.

Re: Massive backfire

Deleted the PO139 code and the CEL remained off for 40mins of driving today :). If the code does come back then you can buy O2 spacers which contain a mini catalytic convter that the sensor screws into to fool the car into thinking the cat is still there, cost around a tenner. Never heard of these....

Might be worth looking at speed bleeder nipples if your doing it solo. Or the kit I got ezibleed has been super useful.

Looking good! If you have asking tape put it around the seal for the piston. Then just keep going untill the piston is covered. Don't copy me... Take your time.

That should work.

Might be worth looking at screws for extra grip.
