We've all heard about those "neighbours" parties in Colchester

Just don't go throwing your car keys into a bowl...
Spoiler:
as you don't know what sort of car you could end up with ;)
Lol. No fear of that, I might end up with a Ford Focus 😉

Re: Essex & Adjoining Counties Meet - FRIDAY 28/08/2020 8PM - CANCELLED

I was going to have to cry off anyway as we have been invited round to the new neighbours and the wife kindly accepted on my behalf. I would love to meet up for a drive and chat next week if anybody is available though (not Tuesday or Thursday) I have an issue with my SSV Solenoid that I would welco...

The sign in process was on line and didn’t work too well me, my additional driver and one passenger had to log in again on the day it also ended ear...

Seems a popular choice

You might like to do the strakes to match, maybe also the badges...
Thanks, I have thought about that and it will probably happen if the wheels stay. The gold is just a bit “yellower” than I envisaged.

Drove mine for the first time since fitting a decat pipe and it is like a different car! So much more torque at low revs (<4K) .I Fell in love all over again.

In case you were wondering, it was a Toyo sports Cat that I removed.

I fit the dust seal to the piston and then extend it out beyond the end and fit it into the cylinder groove then simply push the piston home.
Sounds so simple which has got me wondering why that didn’t occur to me with my new AUTODOC seals.....

Re: Yorins Definitely Stable Financial Decision I Swear

Hiya. The guy on “Really random” YouTube channel Left the pistons in for blasting so the finish on the cylinders wasn’t damaged so I used that technique recently. I would Also be concerned that reusing the seals might be false economy but that is obviously your call. I would also consider settling u...

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

The sprung section can be a pain, I tend to use Mole grips to help get everything compressed, I try and get everything assembled with the least amount of tension (just get nuts to hold a few threads) get everything in place then pull things up tight once everything's on place I recommend you try th...

Mighty car mods run E85 for added performance when they can get it don’t they so this sounds like great idea to me and I’m wondering where I can get ethanol from (another type of premix) . I am also wondering whether this might be a way of getting my car through an MOT without a cat. What are you th...

If you make an insurance claim you can take the settlement but buy back the Car as salvage which shouldn’t be more than a few hundred quid. The car will always be classed as a Cat D (I think) write off but it would be a shame to see a good example of a rare car scrapped
