Re: 2021 Simply Japanese Show at Beaulieu - Sunday 25th July

I'm not sure if I'm going to have the car ready by then, so I'll make a decision end of June. Would still love to come dependent on restrictions. Fingers crossed they're relaxed by then as my wedding is a couple of weeks before!

All the things that are tweaked in a minimap are Quality of Life improvements and longevity boosters. I think it's definitely worth it if you have the chance.

Re: RX8 vs S2000 vs Boxster

There's a bit of badge engineering at play, and one that I think backs up why manufacturers should have a 'Halo' car- Mazda's 'halo' car was the RX7 before and, by default, the RX8 afterwards. I can't really think of anything else in the range that qualifies. Honda had the NSX which was still releva...

Re: Repair Advise: Side Sills

The side sills, especially from the rear arches, are barely protected from the elements, except by the (cloth) arch liners. Those arch liners themselves wick water into the metal they're held onto via the plastic clips that hold them on and once that starts to rust out, It's all too easy for water a...

Re: Phils little civic ek3

So one of the things that has been really annoying me with this car is that the boot floor is not flat and is sagging. I removed the carpet and the my surprise the bit of wood underneath it was still there but absolutely soaked through. So the current plan is the try dry it out a bit and straighten...

'sigh' I don't really think you can call mine a PZ any more, it's more of a spiritual homage.

Re: Azams Racing Blue FK8 Type R GT

Is that on the ring road still?! Lazy buggers! The ring road has now been completed, it's the bit from New Road to the roundabout at Sydenhams they are now doing. New Road they knocked a old house down to remodel the junction. Sent from my F5121 using Tapatalk Oh I hope they haven't messed with the...

Nothing too exciting, it is lockdown after all, but I spotted my 'dream vectra' up on ebay today: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2001-Vauxhall-Vectra-3-2i-GSI-V6-24v-First-Ever-2-6-GSI-26001/293943924652?hash=item44706c57ac:g:nhwAAOSw6uxf-GP5 From the mods and description I'm 99.99% certain it's this on...

Top little rocketship that, particularly for those not expecting it from a 'little SLK'.

Airscarf is one of those things that seems like a gimmick but is actually amazing when it comes to those crisp and sunny spring/winter days. Convertibles are made to be driven top down.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

So the very nice Royal Mail man has been and delivered my lights from Illumaesthetic for my Rx8. So now I’m currently putting off cutting into my oem tail lights as I am petrified to screw up the cuts. Hopefully I will gain the courage and have them done by next week, meaning I will also have a set...

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

I've done a lot of research on this kind of thing in the past and while others may point out where I've been misled, this is essentially what my findings/opinions were; Balancing the rotors makes sense for every rebuild, as brand new they're built in a one size fits all type, then selected at factor...
