Re: Black R3 breaking - pic update wheels

If it was a straight swap then I’ll go for it.
Not really bother about diff ratios at the moment as it got a 3:45.1 diff and only running 14” Wheels.
So that’s all over the place.

Re: Black R3 breaking - pic update wheels

What’s the difference between the Series 1 gearbox and the R3. And would it fit the series 1. Is the gearbox good and mileage. 99% certain that the R3 box doesn't mate up to an S1 engine I'm afraid. That said, with enough money, fabrication and sheer determination you probably could make it work :D...

Try swapping the coils leads and plugs over.
So in theory changing between the two rotors.
Then see if the problem has moved to the other rotor chamber.

Re: GReddy turbo conversion

The Mazda ECU does have its limits to mapping. But to get the absolute best out of the Engine and ECU a aftermarket ECU is the way to go. A Dyno and mapping session with a trusted and reputable ECU guru is also money well spent. Rotarys are quite precise to get everything (Timing and Fueling) spot o...

Re: Are my belts still slipping?

Is it worth taking the belts off.
Starting the engine (Only Briefly) and check if the noise is there or not.

Mazda workshop manual belt deflection is less than 8mm.

Drop dawyne a email and ask if it’s alright I you strip the engine down. He may want to strip it down his self. I’m guessing they work on other cars at Silver Fern judging by they web site blurb. Machining: Major components are machined to O.E drawing specification tolerances. The cylinder blocks ar...

It’s about 10” long 5.5” high and 4” wide. Internal battery that can be charged by Wall Charger Cig lighter ETC. But can not charge and wash at the same time. Re: Best battery? Should be an easy one for you :)

My PT Cruiser had a red top fitted from factory.
Never had a problem with it.
But to be honest the longest I left it was twelve days started after without a problem.

If someone has left a Varta on a RX8 for longer I would go for the Varta.

Local DPD centre had all there catalytic converters stolen overnight
About 20 vans.
Three days later they went back and nicked the new ones they just replaced.

The catalytic converters now have a steel tubing boxing them in.

30 minutes max to change each Bush
Providing them come out easy
That 2 hours at the dealer rate
Not really much difference in price.
