Re: WTB Seat belt receiver and wiring

Luckily the chap who bought my seats (he is installing them in a old Ford van of some description) has told me I can have the reciever back, thank god for that!

Re: WTB Seat belt receiver and wiring

I have a set of recievers from another car I could attach to the seats, I don't know how compatible they would be with the buckle, I would still have the issue of the car thinking my seal belt isn't plugged in. Could this be turned off by someone with software?

Is this to use on aftermarket seats ?
Yep, I'm using bride seat rails. I should of unbolted the buckles when I sold my stock seats but I forgot.

SORTED Seat belt receiver and wiring

Hi folks, I'm in need of a set (drivers and passenger side) of front seat belt receivers with the plugs (so the car knows the belts are in).
Mine went with my stock seats when I sold them, which is bloody stupid of me.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

Finally got around to painting my brake calipers. I went with Mazda Soul red, two stage paint, they came out very well!
The Prodrive sticker is to one side as I need to apply the new 8pot sticker too.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

A somewhat relieving day. I had rust building up on the bottom of the drivers side wing by the sill, I assumed that the sill would be FUBAR beneath, but the car gods smiled on me and its fine. I had a little bit of surface rust which came off with a wire wheel on the bottom of the sill, I have appli...

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

Busy couple of days getting stuck into the car. Front off, any rust removed, luckily it was all surface stuff, undersealed and reassembled, a bit engine bay tarting up as I had some bits knocking about. One headlight separated and silvers bit sprayed satin black, then lacquered before reassembly, I'...

Re: Seats - what possibilities?

The runners are electrically powered on the RX8 so you cannot transfer them to the Recaros. You remove the rails with the floor mounting brackets and attach them to the runner mechanism of the Recaros. The fun thing of course is that you will probably find the RX rails mounted width is not same wid...

Re: Seats - what possibilities?

I purchased some Recaro seats from a Corsa VXR, I have dyed the centres black (much nicer than the grey).
I am looking to remove the runners from the stock seats and adjust them to fit the Recaros, my big headache is getting them low enough, I'm 6ft 1 and like a low driving position.

Looking good pal, I wish I had known you needed front brakes, I have a set you could of had for next to nothing.
I have started to take mine apart too, engine bay has been cleaned up, bumper off to fit a new lip and get ready for the respray.

Re: Data logger / screen

I'm definitely going to put something like this together, it would finish up the dash nicely. Defi do a rather nice system which I like the look of, it runs off of the obd port also. My list of jobs has grown rather large lately, but it's going to be fun.

Data logger / screen

Hello, as part of my renewal of my PZ I'm looking at installing a screen into the top of the dash as shown in the pic. By any chance does anyone happen to know the device in this picture or of one similar, I don't want a Ebay special but rather something decent. I'm in the look out for the dash piec...

Nut size for front strut brace

I promise, I have looked but I can't find the size of the strut brace nuts anywhere!
I'm in the process of ordering new nuts for everything in the engine bay as it's all looking a bit tired. Does anyone happen to know?

Cheers
