Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

I know the car needs a few bits, and have purchased them & got them here. Now maybe Mr MOT tester might not fail it on them, but I'd rather fit them all prior to putting it in for a test. I've just been caught out by how long this has taken. I was expecting it to take 2-3 weeks, then I'd have the s...

I'd have been able to see even really tiny writing with those.

You can see inside people's souls with these.
Is not a pretty sight.

Re: New owner with slightly burnt fingers

Racing Beat Europe /Mazda Rotary Parts can provide street port templates, not sure if the other specialist also do. Talk to Ben at RR about buying a good used housing. Make sure you buy and follow the engine build manual checking all the tolerances and clearances so you will need a straight edge, mi...

Re: Mid 4 compression

10 mile trip up the motorway at minimum 5000rpm as often as possible should clear out any gummy carbon, lacquer etc: and give the cat a good hot session too. Occasional slow downs and full throttle sprints back up to a held 5000rpm minimum afterwards. Did that to mine when I bought it 4 years ago an...

Great photos on Flicker Malcolm, a bad luck day for Clive yet again and I hope the "issue" is something simple to fix. It looks like you were lucky with the weather.

Check out insurance because depending on where you live at your age & being a new driver you could be looking at £1500 to £2000 and that is if you can get a quote.

Re: Cotswold AllSorts Thursday 16th August at 7.00pm Mids,Worcester, Tewkesbury, Brum, Bristol,

The fault im getting is as follows: P0076: Intake Valve Control Solenoid Circuit Low (Bank 1) However I'm inclined to think it's the crank sensor because last time she broke down the car behaved exactly the same. Allowed to cool down she starts fine but revs erratically and dies. I have a spare and...

Re: Meister R coilovers

Thanks for your replies guys, the issue is with the structure of our rear suspension, the dumper just hitting the air cup, when it's required to go further inside the top mount, so I'll need to deal with the air cup guys now, as they were promising me that it will fit when I was asking them several...
