Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

Smothered all the nuts I could find front and back under the car with WD40 prior to suspension adjustments on Wednesday. Oil and filter change but didn't have enough length on the connection wires to finish the installation of the oil and water temp gauges, ordered extensions. Could be worse 👍😎 Did...

Re: RR54 SC Track Project

Current status. Moving the old battery connections to the chassis rail under the fuse box, junction boxes and in line 60amp fuse for the positive ordered. I was surprised by how wet the car was underneath and around the engine bay despite having been in the garage for the last week. Even more of a s...

Re: Tools, tools, tools (was Thumb Ratchets)

I don’t think Vactan has any particular penetrating properties so my suggestion regarding the rusty nuts would be to just spray with the XCP at each service.

Re: Tools, tools, tools (was Thumb Ratchets)

Not really a tool, but a product to solve a problem all the same. The wheel nuts on my car have begun to rust and I have ordered replacements, along with a polycarbonate socket. I was thinking of getting some of this: Screenshot 2021-01-08 at 17.22.50.png And squirting some on my nuts to stop the r...

If Chris Holmes has bought ANOTHER bargain, I'm gonna have to tell Kathy what he really paid for them
The digit was hovering but I anticipate enough “fun” getting RR54 running supercharged. Spare engine being built just in case the current engine in objects to being boosted.

Re: Lower seating options

I dont know, if they are height adjustable then all I can say is maybe. It certainly gave me enough headroom with the blind open in a sunroof car and a helmet but I still had my head cranked left a little and I am 6' 3". For none helmet use the mod is ideal.

Motorway and 60mph will get you there and then some. I managed 29mpg on a motorway at 70 before now...
When I got 350 I was at 70 mostly on motorway, it was downhill from Scotland though.
