Real world mpg driving from Cumbernauld to Cheltenham, 3 stops on the route 70-80mph mostly, tyres are 245/35 x 18 so speedo reads a bit fast and also will of course record more miles so the MPG number will be a bit lower, but still a good result. https://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/search.php?st=...

On the recent trip to Wales, which included numerous hills and the odd little sprint I calculated 17.7mpg. Also prior to going I log...

Ford, Mercedes and BMW I think all held licenses for rotary engines but only Mazda took a truly long term view and solved the sealing issues which were always the Achilles heel of a rotary.

Discussed that the car was low and that the fuel pump had been uprated since the car was new and new seals would have been fitted at that time. Arranged to drop over some time bef...

If you do however leave the RX8 ownership world hopefully you will still turn up to our club track days, schedule permitting!!!

Re: checking if some one is interested.

You need to buy an Audi S4 Avant or an RS4 for real practicality and performance, understated looks, loads of room and a V8 motor. Need more space then go for the S6 or RS6 Avants which are huge.
