spent this afternoon taking the tail lift off. never to be refitted... probably. i suppose i might put it back on, but only if i can work out how to fit the lights and ramps without them hitting the tail lift. not actually that hard. 2 wires and one hydraulic hose disconnected, the lights unbolted, ...

no, try a new battery. you MIGHT have done damage, but you have a good chance that blown fuses are the extent of your issues.

the wiring diagrams are all in the tech manuals in the members section, so another good reason to join, that's not to say they aren't available elsewhere (they are, google is your friend there...) but all the same, its just another good reason to join :D

that doesnt look like its stolen to order because they cut straight through the midpipe before the resonator. youd think they would have cut it behind the second flange?

the idea is the angle will be 50% of what it is at the moment at the top of the ramps, due to the fact your crossing it twice rather than once.

well this s... just got real :D i am royally peed off with fighting with ramps, then ramp extensions, and still having issues with rampover and dragging the nose up the ramps. there's no point in this lorry if its going to be harder work than just driving it there. the tail lift idea? not happening....

ive been mulling over having a 3 ton car sized tail lift fitted. at 8k plus fitting, thats not gonna happen... :) other than that, its getting towards finished...

this, they get to (and beyond) 100% rated duty before you're at 9k rpm, so if you spend most of your time flat out (ie on track) they self destruct.

id be interested to see you stress test a d585 with that rig, against a genuine, fake, and rrp coil.. i suspect the harder you push a d585 the weaker the spark gets... after a fair amount of reserch on my part, along with first hand and second hand experiece, i dont think they stack up against even ...
