Re: Only 629 RX-8 R3's Left !!

I think the s1 will increase in value as they are getting scrapped at a terrible rate, much like the Capri in its day a good 2 litre S is harder to find an a 2.8 injection today,it is harder to find standard models,as halo models are seen as an investment.

Re: 3W Developments RX8 Track car

Hi
Lots of club members track there rx8 from stock cars to full on race cars,my only peace of advice is to get as much weight out of the car as possible, because it is quite expensive to put horse power in.
Look forward to reading this thread.

Yes I do but compression was down after Cadwell Park so I may strip, check and rebuild that which then still leaves me with two resurfaced housings and a set of Hayward bridgeported irons.
Hi Chris
Can I ask where you got your housings resurfaced.
Thanks in advance mark

The backing plate directs cooling air to the disc, so you wouldn't want to leave it off, even on a road car but especially if taking on track.
Thanks for that, I thought so but it’s good to check.

Hi Clive
No refunds until October so plenty of time to decide, were you going for the three days?
We had period clothes and everything, plus the camp site was close to the gates so no driving for the weekend.
