Re: Odd Pulleys for Sale

Does your " refined design A.C. idler pulley allows for replacement bearings unlike the OEM version " explain why yours is 135g rather than just 105g for the OEM? While all your others are lighter than O...

Pictures for the R3 kit aren't actually online yet, £250 is for the series 1 and there is a selector to choose the R3 version. :)
I just noticed your new website homepage. Really nice design! :thumleft:
Thank you :)

Re: DIY tuning/remapping with mazdaEdit and Openport

thanks for this Carl I'm presuming the closed loop table you edit to change the closed loop target then are the Closed loop fuel correction A & B where the table is is a percentage? so this is a factor of 14.7 then ? and I get what you're saying that of course any loss of torque can end up with the...

Re: DIY tuning/remapping with mazdaEdit and Openport

Well trying to be a bit keen really as reading up on some old technical papers rotarys are very mixture tolerant in terms of misfire so wondered if i could pull back the cruise AFR to 15.5 or something similar to save a little fuel There are ways to make the engine run leaner within Mazdaedit throu...

Re: DIY tuning/remapping with mazdaEdit and Openport

so then gents a couple of mazda edit questions why is the ECT ( engine coolant temp) fuel correction flat in the map ? Presumably the map shown in ME is not the one actually used? also where is the closed loop fuel target map ? you can set open loop but not closed? Interestingly enough you cannot s...

Re: Stutter @ 7k rpm

Before anyone goes down a witch hunt, RRP MKII, or MKIII coils do not cause stuttering at 7-8K. I have literally 1000s of these kits out there including a set on my own car, these are also on boosted applications with NO reported issues even at 16PSI! 7-8K is where the VDI opens I'd suggest it's som...

We have measured the OEM width and can confirm 1.905-1.910mm (Just in case they were expressing their 'OEM' seal)

Re: Apex seal “gauges” Required?

are there any instances where you would choose Goopy over OEM Carl? Forced induction? Nope! For forced induction I'd use either OEM or FD OEM which provide a bit more support to the Apex seal and can withstand a bit more detonation than Renesis. Ceramic, I haven't had any experience with so i can't...

Re: Apex seal “gauges” Required?

Just bear in mind Goopy are a bit unkind to the housings, in addition to this the way the corner piece is cut offers little support to the corner seals.

Sometimes it better to stick with OEM,
