Re: 2020 Annual Meet/AGM Weekend - Three Sisters Race Circuit Sat 29th Feb and Sun 1st March **Hotel Bookngs Closed**

I'm looking at M40/M6. Ainmhidh fancy meeting at a convenient services then looking to meet Chris at the end of his session then up to the hotel? Can do - it's normally easy enough for me to cut across Buckingham to the M40 (J11) and head up that way, assuming the traffic isn't Friday evil. Say War...

My gearknob and handbrake wrap (and steering wheel) all have red stitching, pretty sure it's all original.

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

Replaced mine a couple of weeks ago, at 9.5 years, for the first time to my knowledge. I realised I was having to get much closer to make it work and now it's back to how it always was.

Re: MOT FAIL

Oddly enough, when I took mine in for the airbag recall, local Mazda did a 'health check' on it for me, and said one of the drop-links was in urgent need of replacement, which they could do for about £175 (oh, we recommend you do both sides at the same time...) Also one of my tyres was at critical d...

Sorry Dave, your voucher is in the batch due to go out in March. We'll just have to come up with something else for you to buy with it next month!

I suspect you are in time as Ian hasn't harassed the stragglers to pay yet! Shout up a size, and if you want to be ahead of the game chip some money to the shopkeeper, probably via the shop if you need it posting! (see earlier in the thread for details)

Dave in there like lightning (yellow). Presume it was the S1 spec you wanted (not sure if the R3's are any different - I'm confused by previous discussion threads).

Nice badge Carl!

Hi Catherine. First up, put your location in your profile https://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/ucp.php?i=ucp_profile&mode=profile_info as there may be someone nearby who can help you out. Next - I'm by no means any sort of expert, but the 'move it 10 yards and off' is classic territory for flooding...

Re: 3 Sisters Trackday/Annual Dinner/AGM - RRP Parts Offers -Updated

That's certainly my plan B Ian.
If I remember, I should have a dremel tool with me for exactly this purpose and we can hopefully swap our coils over on the day, otherwise remap then and coils later should be fine.

Hi Dan - did you get the reflector sorted? I failed to dig into the box of bits before but I can take a look if you still need one?

Re: Something for the R3 owners

Can you make them relatively easy to swap out, then we can buy multiple options depending on mood on the day? (Half-joking...) I do like the slight recess look in the top render, but I also really like the smooth, flat look. Is the finish likely to be paint or just polished, like the interior piano ...

Re: Something for the R3 owners

Like the idea of different lens colours, though that might be market / MOT dependant.

As an aside, is there any reason the ground is showing as red and +12V as black? I'm assuming they'd actually just be 'solder' colour, on a single-sided board with through holes?

Shiny! I like the vent holes as trochoids. Presumably the LED array will have a relatively wide angle of visibility?
