Thanks, I do. I might pop down for a bit if I can, what time are people usually about?
It's usually car park around 7:30 and head in for 8, depending on the weather. I'll try and post where the table is when we get there.

Hi Ron and welcome. Thanks for joining - you should be access all areas now.
Also note that we should be having a local meet at the Furzton Lake on Friday evening if you want to come along and meet some faces?

Re: Club Member Forum Access

That'll teach me to not update my router firmware just before a busy weekend. It binned all my connection settings and I had to go digging for them to get it reset!

Thanks for picking those up John and Stewart and apologies to anyone who had to wait longer than usual. I'm back now and just working through the backlog to make sure everyone is up to date. Shout if you think I've missed you!

Re: No longer a member, but still about.

Dan and I have talked a bit outside the forum and it's obviously everyone's choice as to whether they pay for full membership or not. There's still a good community feel in general and everyone (who behaves appropriately) is welcome to hang about and discuss whose coils are better than whose (though...

Re: refurbishing the PZ lightweight alloys - will it add weight and reduce structural rigidity?

I'm definitely not a metallurgist, but (courtesy of google) it does look like the hardening temps for powder-coating are in the realms of the hardening temps for aluminium and some/many Aluminium alloys, so it may not reduce the 'strength' of the wheels (in fact may make them more 'rigid') but, at t...

Re: refurbishing the PZ lightweight alloys - will it add weight and reduce structural rigidity?

Company near here claims they can fill-weld chips and kerbing on alloys between stripping and repaint/coat so they end up 'good as new'. They also do ceramic coating on the new paint for ongoing resilience. No idea on cost, but I do intend to take a set of R3 rims to them, at least for a quote, late...

Re: Buying my first RX8

I reckon £2k should get you pretty mint bodywork, an engine that starts quickly hot and cold, a recent compression test in the mid-sixes or better and evidence of good maintenance (quality coil and lead replacements, and plugs replaced at least within the last 25k miles, regular oil and filter chang...

Re: misfiring , white smoke

We know they were both originally in the same/ neighbouring premises, but looking at the CH details you can see they have different directors, and the LC Motorsport website states that they have moved recently, so the companies house records may just not have been updated with a new registered addre...

Re: Rear bumper and fog light fixing guessing game

It's fine - the first time I tried to share my post it did the same thing to it - I think it tries to do something about previewing the link if you don't surround it with url tags and Amazon redirect the urls to their ad-tracking type ones, so the ad-blocker just doesn't render it at all.

Ranjan, Sucks you can't track day, but at lest you get to have fun with the B-roads.
Do you always fly back in to the same airport as the one from which you last left the UK, or do you have trusted folks to shift the right car to the right place for you?

Just a thought - as they are BD discs they are presumably drilled and grooved. It's presumably not just the frequency of the grooves past the pads that you're sensing?
