Burning away would leave a stub where it was originally welded. I think there is a weak weld issue causing the problem as the location groove is clean.
i think i did have a little nubbin left on the one that had gone for me, no idea where the plugs are now though i think i gave them to Tim.

Re: Good riddance

Ranjan, if you are looking at Mk3's you might find joy in the Cosworth duratech engines, shed loads of power and torque and can come ready dry sumped.

or get hold of a millington diamond...

(sorry i've been watching too many of Retro Power's videos recently)

nice one getting the best colour as well :thumleft:

what tyres are on the car, RX8's do like to throw the traction control in very early if it thinks you are going to slip.

Re: LED lights - Legal?

I'm an amateur photographer so familiar with the concept of Lux and "illumination" as in how well something is lit. Recently I've been amazed by how poor many led batten lights are, while being sold to replace fluorescent tubes. They have seemingly impressive lumens but are totally crap at lighting...

"The car feels great 7k revs onwards, but past 4th gear you find yourself outside the best power-band" you will also be topside of 100mph For road driving 2nd and 3rd gear are more than sufficient for some fun on A and B roads. 4th gear can be just a brief visit on most tracks too. That's some good...
