I just used an old roll of neoprene I had laying around dude. Although it's behind a grill. But originally had them on both and got paranoid. No burns or anything so far

Re: front centre speaker upgrade

Cool man. Try finding one with a high sensitivity. Hopefully the OEM won't have as high so you'll have more chance for the new one to be louder. See if you can get the power handling spec of the original and match that too If your new driver has higher power handling then the OEM amp will not be abl...

Johnson's Mazda, Tamworth 2017? 4. If you have received the recall and not had the work done, what is yo...

Well... its done. I thought there would be a large hole in the bandwidth but it does sound a lot more direct. I've only just input gain matched the subs. Which were in dire need as they were far too unbalanced. Finally plugged in the tweeters and ran some different genres. All in all they sound grea...

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

I have a multimeter. I did look up how to use it to test relays but Ill have to look again tomorrow. And Kenni my friend suggested a tow start and that if it comes to that he will give me a hand with it which is good. Hopefully it doesn't come to that though. Give it a whirl dude. Its guaranteed to...

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

Spent a long time years back looking for some tweeters on mine that covered a similar frequency range, settled on some Alpine SPS-110TW bang for buck I think it's the best audio upgrade I've ever done over the years (used to be really into car audio in the early to mid 2000's). alpine.jpg Checked t...
