Re: New member - Hemel Hempstead

Ignoring option 4, which is frankly ridiculous :D , I guess it comes down to the body condition of the current car. If it is free of rust and paint is in good condition then keep it going with either a replacement engine or rebuild.

Re: Is an RX-8 right for me?

25 miles each way will be fine for the car as I imagine there will be motorways or A roads involved so you can rev it fully at points. £1400-1800 will buy you a nice example if you choose carefully, personally I think you are better off looking for as late a car as possible and accepting the higher ...

As we slid away a bit early I just wanted to say it was a very enjoyable day yesterday made even better by attending as part of the club.
Thanks to Malcolm for organisation and refreshments and also the passenger laps :thumright:

That's not a problem Nick. Even better if you can bring your own mugs ;)

Are they staying for food after though? Not a problem, but I'll need to up the table booking, so let me know.
Apologies for late response, no food required

Re: Buying my first RX8

:whathesaid: I don’t know if you are in UK or not but here £2000 should buy you a lovely example, £500 buys you one with a misfire. Unless you perhaps don’t mean a misfire, it is not unusual for RX8s to hunt a little on revs when idling whilst also making a few small pops, this is usually down to ig...

Anyone want a red knob?

Excuse the childish title, it’s just my level.

Before I chuck this, anyone want it?

I guess postage will be a couple of quid

Hello and welcome. I recommend Luke Murdoch of Murdoch Rotary Specialist, he is mobile so will be able to come out to you and diagnose/fix the fault.
He is best contacted via his FB business page.

Re: FS 2007 231 Titanium Grey

Looks a clean car from the pics, good luck with the sale. I think we have established from recent cars for sale in this price range that a quick sale is fairly hard to come by but if there is someone looking for a clean, freshly rebuilt example then it looks ideal.

Just with regard to number of votes, I only cast one vote as I wanted to vote only for products I would 100% buy if the buy happened, perhaps this is the case for others too?
