Re: Finding all the PZ's

I have two Pz's, both are within the vin number range you listed. (Pm you)
Was one of the original cars used to develop the Pz's (the first Pz) not up for sale on here a while back? Is that where you got the starting pz vin number from?

Engine ecu

Had some bad news with my car after having an auto electrician out to look at a fault with the electrical system. Anyway long story short, I require a new Wngine ecu (egi/pcm). I can find ecu kits but I had a question regarding the part number. Do I need to find a pcm with the exact same part number...

Checked all the fuses, none blown.

Yes lights come on the dash, but oil and other lights at left where battery light is come on and stay on until key is turned to the off position again.

Re: Engine rebuild question

Thanks, Dave.

I test a few guys engines so already aware of not testing engine until at normal operating temperature.

warpc0il wrote:You can't compression test the engine without running it until it is hot.

Actually you can test it cold but the results are meaningless.

Re: Engine rebuild question

Thanks for the reply.

I do have a couple of engines already who have the engine serial number on the front and rear housings but this one looks as if it was blank and was stamped by someone during rebuild

Engine rebuild question

Looking at a possible spare engine which I have been told has been rebuilt in the past but current owner has no paperwork for proof. He sent some photos of engine and looks as if the front rotor housing has been replaced in the past as there is no serial number on the housing, but a short code with ...
