Re: Tyres And Emissions

Road tyres are easy to overheat on track, getting enough heat to the point where grip suffers on the road is pretty much impossible unless your on police interceptors with Pat and Carl following you

Re: Help! Rough idle after engine swap and mods

I used to use torque pro (now use mazdaedit). How I would look at the issues: Check battery connections Try a stock intake ( clean maf etc at same time) Check ignition (laser spark testers are great) Check vac lines around sai pump Check fuel trims on torque (an intelligent person will decode them f...

Re: Help! Rough idle after engine swap and mods

In that case, the K&N can't be ruled out but you need someone more knowledgeable then me to tell you what you need to monitor using torque or similar, if you have an obd scanner

Re: Help! Rough idle after engine swap and mods

If the latter two then you may well need it mapped to idle properly. Also who built it as they should have mazdaedit that they can plug in and see...

Re: Acceleration?

I think acceleration wise you will be more than happy coming compared to your past cars, I imagine the Saab would take off well buy would run out of puff as the turbo started to struggle where as the rx8 keeps pulling all the way to redline in every gear, they are also responsive so providing you ar...

Re: Ed's Galaxy Grey 231

So the rrp water pump went on today, very happy with it, it's decreased my cruising temps by around 8 degrees and my ragging it temp is my old cruising temp, temps also drop alot quicker now, I think this will be a big seller for RRP!

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

Fitted my RRP R3 water pump, it works well, just driving around it's dropped water temps about 8 degrees c, when easing off the temps drop down much quicker, will give it a proper test at Nur next month

Re: SPA 13/10/2019 Javelin

Fuel wise when in Europe I used about a tank and a half and probably just over 2 tanks on track (the on track petrol station is not much more expensive than normal ones) , worth every penny!

I have to say anyone commenting about Dans departure who hasn't been a member at long as Dan has is a bit comical, anyway Dan will always be a massive member to me

The width will also help the sale, I think for that money you'd be better off splitting the tyres and wheels

Re: Euro Car Parts

However Varta E23's are cheapo if it's what is advertised! About £1 cheaper between there and T...
