Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
Negative post warning. I've not done ANYTHNG to it. Bit disappointed really as I fancied a tinker... it's just perfect. Started up today after weeks of sitting and fired up fine and ate up the local roads. Loads of power, setup is still splendid and a joy to drive and easily overtake anything local...

Re: RRP COFS extended bolt size/length?
Stainless steel into aluminium alloy is a bad combination, because they react and seize in place. Better with just blacked/zinc coated steel, as per OEM Well that was what is supplied, I actually used Grade 5 Ti courtesy of a certain large aero engine manufacturer when I fitted my COFS. * * Del. Re: Rear calipers
Hello all, I have a left rear caliper that keeps sticking, ever since a run in with a salted road in winter. The local garage are saying a new caliper is needed. They can source Pagid calipers ( not sure if these are any good ? ) but I thought I'd ask on here if anybody has some for sale first. I'd...

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
I did a thing.. Bought that "modified" rear wing that's been floating around the club and took it back to basics. Didn't want to butcher my PZ wing so bought a stock boot lid and went from there. I think it looks much better personally but hey.. I'm an accountant! https://uploads.tapatalk...

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????
Collected the yella . On initial inspection it seems actually quite a solid car for a twenty year old RX-8 so quite happy with that. I will see where the engine is at in terms of compression tomorrow, ignition is clearly knackered so possibly original coils and the starter sounds original too. IMG_...

Re: Paul's RX-5
I changed the oil and cleaned the spark plugs today. Oil smelt strongly of petrol and the spark plugs looked very healthy. Almost as though it's an injector issue with the cold start problem. Starts fine from warm! Mine was awful starting from cold It’s a crap set of spark plugs Sent from my iPhone...

Re: Paul's RX-5
It's started. I removed the wires from the ecu plug for the crank sensor and pushed some copper wires in and manually wired the crank sensor. it slowly bumbled to life and promptly cut out when I let off the throttle too early. Proper smoked out the garage I now need a replacement engine loom Great...

Re: Once you go black.... (Condor's PZ)
Winter projects are rumbling on for the PZ, but nothing is ever straightforward. Does anyone have any experience running both a Revi airbox and a 53mm Koyo radiator? I have just attempted to fit a Revi and noted that the Koyo is partially blocking the space behind intake hole that the connects the ...

Hawk are mega Last much more than 2 track days. Well Last me more I plan on trying the Hawk DTC-60 pads once I've gotten through my stock of bluestuff, I overbought a few sets. Wore them down to the metal at Snetterton on Monday, then went out for a few more laps because the conditions were too goo...
