Re: Scottish member

I have a 10 plate R3 in mint condition that I may consider parting with. It has been fully underseald including arches and skirts.
Few tasteful mods too
Drop me a PM if you want to chat further.

Re: Locating a new/recon`steering rack.

Hi Snowcat, try this place : Here's the details of the company I used back in December '19 Really easy to deal with and good communication. The guy I dealt with was called Paul. Initial outlay was £446 incl VAT & delivery & return. You get £150 refunded when you send them your faulty rack, s...

Can anyone suggest suitable aftermarket replacement towing eye/straps that are correct fitment for S1's.
Looking for something with a bit of bling factor.

Re: PAS Problem

Happy days ! I have fully functioning power assisted steering again. :yeah: After over 2 years of wonky steering it has finally been fixed. Purchased a reconditioned rack from a specialist company in the Manchester area. The guy I dealt with was really helpful and communication was good. They didn't...

Silicon Hoses

Looking to do a bit of engine bay dress up on my S2.
Any recommendations for good quality hoses and breather pipes, apart from the obvious Samco.
I realise not all hoses are of the same quality/grades, so has anyone any experience of other makes ?

Re: Dealer Experience - whats yours like?

Took my R3 to Macklin Motors (Mazda) in Hamilton for airbag recall, work was completed within 2 hours while I waited. Tech (John) seemed to be very clued up on RX8's and even showed me component part he replaced and explained what the issue was. Told him I also had my 231 with various recalls includ...

Tony - Exiled Viking - has the widest experience with lambo kits, as I think he tried two different ones on his (now Chris') car and has helped other member fit theirs.
Thanks Dave, I now know who to contact for info/guidance.

Lambo/Scissor Door Hinge Kits

I've seen a few members have these kits fitted.
I must admit I like the look of these but would appreciate some advice on fitment/practicality/cost/where to buy.
Also prepared to be slated :D

Re: Vinyl Wrap

3M is good quality stuff and if you tell your supplier what it's for they'll be able to recommend the right quality (cast I believe). Avery is also pretty good. They're both expensive but for the sizes you're looking at it shouldn't add up to much £ in total. There's also something called "air...

Looking to wrap the silver trims along the transmission tunnel as mine are pretty scuffed front driver and passenger side.

Applied with a hairdryer easily enough ?

So a Thursday night meet sounds great :thumright: I'll be heading off for my first leg shortly. If I don't see you before I was thin...
