Re: 300 Mile Club (S1 RX8s) or 325 mile club for S2 RX8s

My main restriction in making the 350 club is living in a part of the country where the motorway driving that maximises the potential range culminates on the journey home of joining the M25 and having to head around it with no services until Cobham, and then no more services along the M25/M23 until ...

Re: Do you see many RX8's?

Went all the way to Antigua via Gatwick and home again and saw 1 Black RX8 'ST57..' about 30 seconds before I pulled up on my driveway back at home. None in Antigua but the roads really weren't suitable - some were more pothole than surface though they did have the graders and rollers out on some b...

Re: How many left?

That's all well and good but the point I'm making is that there will be simply not enough cars therefore not enough work to go around.Rare is not good news for specialists all vying for the same business,it simply doesn't work. As these cars become rarer the enthuaists that own them will garage the...

Thing with businesses is that experiences will vary. AF insure me, at a decent price, covering all mods and a guaranteed value and I'm very happy with them. Obviously, this tends not to make for an exciting forum post...

Re: Are RX8 prices finally on the up?

It kind of depends what people are hoping for in terms of increasing values. They definitely will go up, and if not already, then pretty soon - but not by that much, it'll be a slow appreciation. There are a number of reasons, there are lots and lots of old knackered ones at the end of their lives (...

I've effectively done it - refilling (no choice, was on the M25) when the light had just come on at 328, but that's the closest.

Re: Hayward project N/A power Target 280+ HP

As I understood it, there was lots of written correspondence about the expected outcome?

In any case, this is purely about covering oneself in the event of future problems.

Rob, Vian Both very valid views. Thank you. Re: Hayward project N/A power Target 280+ HP

It's not about whether you want it to go back or not, I'm not suggesting that you should do. It's about ensuring they meet their legal obligations and you having everything in place to take action should you need to. The point is not that you ought to go back, but that you are in a very strong legal...

Re: Hayward project N/A power Target 280+ HP

Get it to Carl Ryan, see what he can do with the map to try and get it sorted, hopefully by the time you're done you'll have yourself a properly sorted car, especially if you can get the air con and brakes to work all of the time as well. He has to be a bit careful here. Having other people do any ...

Re: Highest Mileage RX8 in the UK?

Really funny UK comments on this US-guy that drove 200.000 mls obviously. Doubts, strange remarks, etc, etc............it seems that instead there is some joy about this result for our RX-8, many posters come with silly comments. In spite of the US where things like this are considered from the pos...

Re: Hayward project N/A power Target 280+ HP

Sorry, that's why I was specifically asking. Do you have it in writing that that was what you had paid for? I'm not being difficult, if you are trying to seek redress at some point, it's important to know exactly what the contract (whether via email discussions or formal agreement) was.

Re: Hayward project N/A power Target 280+ HP

I guess the question is....what have you actually paid for? If a reprogrammed ECU was part of that, they can't charge you for that part of the work if they haven't done it.

Re: Upgrading Mazda RX8 PZ suspension

It's quite a significant difference from the stock suspension to the PZ version - that's why I put PZ suspension in mine.

By a country mile your best option is in the PM you've received from WhelanUK. Do that.
