Re: Engine light after revi air box install

So, quick update, Re checked what I'd done, and didn't do more to the point!. Firstly, there was no mesh, so I fitted the one from the standard box, Cleaned and resealed the maf And caped the vrad, Cleared the code with my code reader And took it for a quick thrash and all seems normal again, Thanks...

Re: Engine light after revi air box install

Quick update, There's one thing I didn't mention, because I didn't think it was a possible cause until I put the code reader in. I've just replaced my toyo sports 200cell cat with a rrp 100cell cat, drove it a couple of times and it was ace. It might be a coincidence? But I have just changed to the ...

Engine light after revi air box install

Not sure what I may have done wrong? I replaced the standard box with this, I put the maf which was running fine, removed the bits which we're not needed, apart from the gubins behind the bumper. On idle was a bit rough, but drove fine, but wanted to stall coming up to a Junction, Did the 20 stomp r...

200 cell sports cat

Only done 3000 miles from new,
Throttle response compared to a standard cat is noticeable, and it's not too loud,
Gives a nice burble.
Selling due to upgrade

Re: Car Ramps and other Access Options

What was the process to get the car on the ramps? The front ramps obviously don't fit under the cills of the car. So I assume you reversed up the rear ramps, then jacked the front of the car up and slid the front ramps under. Then jacked all four platforms up. ?? Did you jack the front of the car u...

Lost my gears!

Something strange just happened, Just got home after a decent drive, And I was ready to get it on my ramps as I wanted to check something, I almost got to the top of the ramps and I stalled it, so I restarted and coasted to the start again for second attempt but I couldn't get it into gear, No probl...

Re: To scoop or not to scoop?

I'm sure someone will correct me, but is the actual draw from the air box so strong it would pull rain in? I'd assume it would hit the back and drain back out ,

Re: To scoop or not to scoop?

In case anyone isn't sure, ftp is just another name for fiberglass. I believe fiberglass is a trademarked name, but frp isn't. Well, it's generally that anything called fibreglass will be bulk glassfiber held together with a binder (epoxy, vinyl, polyester) - whereas FRP is usually a plastic - ABS,...
