we are not sure until its stripped its still running
something bottom end / crank is putting pressure one the gearbox and the crank is stiff at one point the spins as should by hand
probably a bearing etc on the way out

otherwise to be honest its been fine running somewhere around 370-380 ish

Well the car is off for an engine rebuild over new year and should be all ready for the AGM . Meanwhile i will be driving a CX7 diesel - life in the bus lane

Will, if its dropped into the under tray ,then removing one or two of the 8mm bolts securing it to the bumper bottom edge should give you enough room to get your hand in. failing that,there is a rubber flap behind the wheels that also allows access,rob. Money Money Money !! had an uprated clutch and leightweight fly put in but the gearbox is on its way out :oops:

Good news is I have sourced a low miler MK2 box and they have a longer 1st and 2nd gear :thumleft: :thumleft:

Mix and match I have my PZ alloys on the car 225 40 18 on the front and 224 45 18 at the rear.The fronts aren't the correct tyre but more or less the same radius

New discs and pads all round today they needed to be upgraded from standard as I'll be chasing a few more horses soon

200 rr dyno is not standart is been rebuild also ported and mods.

The figures were from what i could remember not what mods etc

if its a rebuild let him have a good read as "willing to have a go" ain't what you need as parts for a rebuild are roughly 1K
