I really don't want to cross the 2006 road tax boundry unless there's a really compelling reason too...
That compelling reason would be an R3..but then,I'm biased ;)

Re: Radio code not working - Help

It looks like you're one of the unfortunate few with a car that's had a code entered by a previous owner - from new,RX8's didn't have a code entered. Mod Bit: Security Code override information removed, as we don't publish this in the non-members area (despite it also being available from other sour...

Where do you put the panel ? On top of the car or inside say on the dash ?
I propped it up on the dash at roughly the same angle as the screen, which is the recommended placing for use in a car.You won't need any voltage regulator,as the panel's internal electronics regulate current flow.

Re: Battery

:whathesaid: The kit I linked to comes with adaptors for both cig lighter, and croc clips for battery terminal connection - you'll need to connect direct to the battery, but the cable can be easily routed thru' the door shut and under the top rear edge of the front wing, and closing the door won't pinc...

Re: Battery

AceCobra..since your car appears to live outside,as opposed to being garaged, then something like a solar charger will keep the battery topped up - I should know,as my R3 spent a winter outdoors when my garage was being renovated, and with it not being a daily driver to boot, battery failure was a conc...

Re: The Japanese Performance Show - Sun 19th August

Not exactly sure,Huw,but it's now barely the beginning of July and the event isn't until late in August,so I'd say there's a fair bit of grace yet..You just need Revs,as I've already said elsewhere,to make sorting your car a priority ;)
