Re: Re-chrome possibility
I have seen in Russian rotary community where some workshops doing same re-chrome stuff which looks identical to instagram images in first post, but then heard feedback from people who done that, where that re-chrome layer came off in peaces and destroyed engine within 10-15k miles, so I wouldn't 10...

WhatsApp Image 2018-08-09 at 17.40.26.jpeg Here is how it looks in my trunk, it is quite small setup, so should fit with your sub, driftworks are official distributor, so shouldn't be any issue as well, and as you said your rear is higher than front that mean you 100% won't have any issues with spe...

Hi there, nope rears are impossible to fit on our cars :c but even with fronts speed bumps are no more an issue or driving on pedestrian part of the road, when road works are all over your city

Not sure if the rear ARB made that because went from lowering springs to coilovers and changed my rear 231 ARB to R3's and now car hardly go sideways and feels more like go kart

Set ordered!
As I do have d585 coils right now I'll need some wires as well, which one you can suggest best for those coils and where I can order them?

Re: Modding/Fixing: R3 vs S1 ?
It was from a Recaro specialist - may be the same one in the other thread - and yes, about £1100 + VAT. Given it'd be a full 100% refresh of the seat materials I think it's not a bad price. Likewise I've got a pair of heated S1 seats that I'm going to try and get the heater elements out of... Heate...

Re: Looking to fit a sub to the bose system ?
I was thinking to plug 3.5mm splitter to nexus, so one output will go to grom and another to sub
Or this won't work as planned and quality will be lower than using RCA adaptor?

Sorry for resurrecting this thread... but I'm on my way on installing one of those small subs to my box between rear seats, the sub I thinking to buy and install is this one https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Subwoofers/Powered+Subwoofer/TS-WX120A Here is wiring diagram: http://i.imgur.com/...

Re: MOT and high flow cat
It depends if the test is just at idle or also fast idle. The UK in England includes the fast idle, which is the challenge for sports cats, while in NI they only test on idle. FYI in Southern Ireland (ROI) their test excludes emissions for rotaries. So much for European Alignment ;) Sent from my SM...

MOT and high flow cat
Still can't decide which one will fit my needs most, but I'm looking to upgrade my catalytic converter with some high flow cat, what I'm after - a bit more pops and flames, but not having need to swap it before MOT, we do have limit for for CO2 on our MOT of 160-180g/km (I think in UK unit of measur...

Re: Rx8 supercharging vs supercharging 370Z or gt86
I think that engine choice depends on what fast cars are produced/popular in your country, for example in our country people always choose some old beemers engines to swap anywhere, in russia they choose 2JZ/3UZ or the most stupidest engine swap - from Lada https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lada_110#Lad...

Re: Rx8 supercharging vs supercharging 370Z or gt86
Also there is one shop in Russia that sells some parts that you'll require to have for 13b-rew swap and the prices aren't too expensive https://nicon-rotary.com/en/product-category/rx8_swap/ They do rew swaps themselves too, so can help with everything you need, but most expensive part of this swap ...

Re: Rx8 supercharging vs supercharging 370Z or gt86
If I had spare £10k to invest into supercharging rx8 and spare 1 year, I'd go with something like making a 13b-rew swap which would make rx8 more reliable and had more performance potential than any of the cars from your list, but easiest way to get more power is use another car... Also I heard that...

Re: R3 Steering Wheel Installation (S1) (Airbag Code 19)
Few days ago I swapped my S1 steering wheel with R3's which had only one air bag connector, I went same route as LINXX with putting resistor on one of the air bag connectors, and while browsing internet I noticed that you actually can remove the air bag inflator, so can I just swap my S1 inflator to...

Re: How many miles are rebuilt engines good for?
Just a note on Goopy apex seals, after some pretty extensive testing we found that they chatter far more than OEM apex seals which means your housings if new or used will suffer from more "devils claw" My advice stick to OEM unless you have to use Goopy for a particular reason. Heard same informati...

Re: Meister R coilovers
Thanks for your replies guys, the issue is with the structure of our rear suspension, the dumper just hitting the air cup, when it's required to go further inside the top mount, so I'll need to deal with the air cup guys now, as they were promising me that it will fit when I was asking them several...
