Immobiliser - Car wont start - Help (Not Daily)

Hi All, Been a while since been on here but finally getting the car back on the road after a longer period than expected side-lined. The car has been off road for 2+ years, separate trouble shooting post to follow on getting it running again after it failed to hold an idle then never started again a...

Re: OBD-2 WIFI Adapter

Iv not forgotten, just found the bit of paper I had written down. It was more trial and error matching up the IP addresses (not ports as mentioned before). I ended up using 192.168.0.11 or 12 255.255.255.0 and then 192.168.0.10 Port 35000 Make sure you pick the right software, that is on the dev on ...

Re: OBD-2 WIFI Adapter

Hi mate, I have one of these, it took a bit of time to get it up and working. It was to do with what ports you use. Need to match up etc etc. I will have a look this weekend in more detail. Unfortunately as I had my phone stole I cannot tell you off the top of my head.

Re: Trackday Helmet

Apologies, the "They are top quality, the only difference is you're not paying for a big brand name & all of the marketing." was from the pistonheads forum and not my view. Yeah i wouldnt wear it anywhere near a bike or if im racing but for the likes of Kames, knockhill etc should be ok. PS. thanks ...

For that price who can complain. http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/special_buys3_13442.htm Done some research on it and found this link to Pistonheads for...

Re: Wheel Spacers - 20mm too much?

Slight hijack but anyone know the dimensions of the spacers?? Going to make some up in work and would save me the time of measuring the wheel & hub.

Cheers

Re: Detailing tips , hints , tricks and do's n dont's

Snow foam is definitely the way forward (i got mine from www.autobritedirect.co.uk for £40 with a liter of foam) takes most of the rubbish off leaving the grease. Proper tire shine from likes of chemical guys is brilliant, last so much longer than stuff like meguiars nxt etc etc. Plus i use it in en...

Get yourself over to Detailing World. There is hundreds of info on everything you need to know with lots of guides from the pro's. Got to agree with tiny, no point on putting on the sealant to a dirty surface. Using the clay bar will get the paint work smooth like glass and you will notice a huge di...
