I would imagine the instant torque would be good for towing :)

This guy does a video on towing with an EV and it isn`t his own car so in theory neutral but I will add it was all flat terrain so no towing up hills!

Re: RX8 now officially cheaper to run than Tesla!!!!

When I first saw the RX-8 in magazines and then in the showroom I instantly knew I wanted one and it never failed to please me in all respects maybe fuel consumption was not so good but 20 years later it still does the same for me I haven`t seen any Electric car today that does the same - no charact...

Re: Bright headlights!

According to one lighting expert HID`s are the best compromise between a good light output without affecting other drivers but HID`s are power hungry which will never do for when we all start to drive EV`s as they will reduce the range of your EV when driving at night, my Cupra although a big rufty ...

My brother has a Mk4 MX5 with LED headlights they are similar to the RX-8 Bulls Eye lense but LED's and he reckons he gets flashed quite a lot (not that sort of flash Mark) he has had the lights checked a week ago on the MOT and they were OK he reckons the problem is all the swerving and the constan...

Bright headlights!

As there appears to be a growing amount of kerfuffle on how bright cars headlights are blinding everyone who drives a car and as some RX-8`s are equipped with HID`s whilst not probably as intense as LED`s I just wondered how many owners do actually find LED`s dangerous as is being suggested now, I d...

Re: My Other car - pics.

A new addition to the stable, I decided that my previous Cupra Formentor was lacking a little in the horses dept so have swapped it for a 310 bhp Formentor VZN in Mountain Green 0-60 in 4.9 should do the job until its chipped to 370 bhp.
