I don`t know as one of the other 40th owners had a complete dealers list which I have got which was comprehensive enough to show which car by VIN was allied to the build numbers, we only have 34 out of 500 for the Kuro register unless Dave can do something with it.

Re: Special Edition Register additions.

Re: Special Edition Register additions.
I have already checked the VIN`s for the 40th Anniversary which have varying gaps compared to the 1- 400 build numbers so I would assume the other special editions are the same.

Latest advice to EV owners due to the recent high temps - keep the car in the shade and don't exceed 80% on a charge as batteries don't like the heat!

Will check the rota but more than happy to help out in Flos - not sure why but she tends to be a bit of a hit with kids 😂 The young kids are geared up to appreciate anything with Green credentials  - but if questioned about fuel consumption there are 2 options - either :^o or [-( * * Del.

Re: New member looking to buy....Hi!

Having owned several RX7`s I should imagine you realise this is the place to find a decent RX-8, also there is an endless amount of knowledge available for paid up club members - the buyers guide is helpful and good luck with your search.

I hope you don`t mean the two clowns plus one have produced a petrol alternative
You mean one day in the not to distant future past 2030 I might finally be able to brush the cobwebs off and run the RX-8 again.

Re: New Car Ordered
Just out of curiosity will it arrive with a speed limiter fitted now that the EU has decreed all new cars have to have them - a Porsche with a speed limiter seems a bit at odds with what a Porsche is.

Re: EV the future ?
Personally, hating the silent, boring, automated nature of my works car inspired me to buy my RX8, which unsurprisingly made me enjoy driving once again. Last night driving along the Ring Road in Coventry a Lexus IS500 F Sport passed me and the driver booted it going under a bridge Jesus I don`t kn...

A third of UK homeowners don’t have a driveway or garage to install a home charge point, on-street chargers make up a quarter of the UK charging network but the majority are in London, in Coventry that figure rises to 50% of homes that do not have off street parking and the council have just announc...

Just one example but take a BMW i3 EV new £34K with a range of 177 - 190 miles now a 2014 car at 8 years old £13K to £16K with an 8 year battery warranty I can`t see people queuing round the block to buy one second hand let alone new.
