Re: Passenger door lock actuator jigsaw puzzle

I added this commet to my DIY fix "The only thing I would add here is make sure you do not interfere with any of the gearing of the levers or you will have fun trying to work out how it all works." Far be it for me to discourage you from completing your task but when I discovered you can r...

Re: Led interior lamps flickering - shunt resistors needed?

Sounds like an issue with the R3 as the only LED`s not replaced in my 40th are the indicators which I did do and they worked OK but then I found there is no safety warning if one of the LED`s packs up like a hyperflash on the Indicator relay so I left the bulbs in. Apart from that all the interior L...

Re: PZ group buy suspension

Firstly someone needs to set up a group buy they need to compile a list of of the number of owners interested in buying a set.

You need to see if the numbers are there to make it worth while. :-k

Re: EV the future ?

Thats a considerably better deal than we can get in the UK though Milos your lekky is at our old price and the car is £10,000 cheaper than cheapest Tesla on auto-trader right now Kudos to you for grabbing this opportunity and getting very cheap motoring but its simply not an option for most people ...

Re: Maintenance - Time vs mileage

Re: EV the future ?

This is an ideal opportunity for the UK government to save the planet and start with a clean slate: An extra tax based on the price of the EV has already started ie an increased VED on vehicles over £40k. Pay per mile charge. An extra tariff on domestic electricity supply for car charging. And anyth...

Re: EV the future ?

So lets not fool ourselves: Once upon a time lots of Petrol car drivers realised that a Diesel fuelled car provided cheaper motoring because Diesel was cheaper than petrol and MPG was better so everyone bought Diesel cars then the Government realised that car owners were getting cheaper motoring but...

Re: EV the future ?

You unhook it Del  Yes I appreciate that but when you enter a petrol station you pull up at the pumps as normal fill up drive off, I don`t see many petrol stations with EV charging points would have sufficient space for a caravan park as well it would be the same with on street charging, all t...

Model 3 towing capacity is 1,000kg. If you need more then get the Y which is 1,600kg.
If you are touring and towing a caravan with an EV and you are required to stop to recharge what do you do with the `van if space is limited whilst at a charging point. :-k

Re: About to possibly buy one :D

:welcome: The buyers guide is quite comprehensive but don`t you know a qualified driver preferably someone with some mechanical knowledge that can test drive the car for you as it is a bit of a risk for you without either, premixing just needs a liquid measure of some sort, I keep a bottle in the bo...
