"Kuro" is Japanese for Black, the Kuro was a limited number special edition finished in "Sparkling Black" so a red car wouldn`t be a Kuro unless it has been resprayed which would be a strange thing to do as the Kuro is a bit of a rare RX-8.

I can`t find any sequential side repeaters for the S1 but found this Side markers from the RX-8 Club so have ordered the R3 lamp LED`s to fit in these S1 clear lamps which I knew might come in handy one day.

Don`t know if they are the same but you can also get Dynamic Repeaters for the R3.

A Blue Print series 1 front hub with the original Mazda item, it doesn`t help that many aftermarket suppliers list the S1 or R3 hubs will fit RX-8`s from 2003-2010.

Not interior lamps but have blue LEDs inside they have been fine - the rear number plate lamps one bulb packed up afer a short time so replaced them wth complete LED lamps and the front side lights one bulb has just started to flicker a lttle and they were not cheap ones.

Now you've said that it makes sense that the levelling is stuck as my RX-8 has never had any actual load carrying change to activate the levelling and as I never drive it at night would explain why I never noticed before.

The D2S bulbs are a lot newer than the H9`s and obviously they passed the MOT check but the mains are not so critical on an MOT apparently and its the H9`s that seem to be low on the road but as I said the road ahead is lit up OK but the main beams I am used to seeing as you say are focused high up ...

Any lighting experts does anyone know do HID bulbs change with time, I went out earlier in the RX-8 in the dark and I noticed although dipped beams seem OK the focal point of the H9 main beams seem to be low down on the road in front of the car although the road ahead is well lit and the RX8 was MOT...

How does that work its just passed an MOT, its taxed as a grey Rover and its registered and insured as a Range Rover!

Surely the local Gendarmerie will have sussed that one or perhaps the owner has friends in high places!

IMHO it doesn`t look much like a Range Rover.

In my experience all after market LED`s are not created equally I suppose it depends on how much you pay for them, but I have had LED`s that failed quite quickly completely or start to flash. I replaced the number plate bulbs with LED`s a short while later my RX-8 failed the MOT as one LED had faile...

When fitting Eibach 20mm spacers the hub studs can protrude by approx`5mm above the spacer face, the recess in the back of the wheel can vary from 3mm to 4mm deep, where the figures are cast within the recess it reduces the depth of the recess so the length of the studs will need to be shortened acc...
